Myuzishin attempts to create sonic novels, and each song hopes to evoke a story in the listener. Not necessarily My story, but a story of the listener's making. In this way, the music is freely interpreted by the audience, rather than directed by the artist.
I started out on piano at around 6, got my first guitar at 15. Been ping-pongin back and forth between them most of the time since then, but now I have everything I need so I do it all myself.
I don't, really. I've done the occasional Open Mike nights and been on stage with some great players from MusicianWar, but I really prefer to see the stage from in front of it.
I like almost anything except cookie-monster vocals in some of the metal out there these days. But my preferences and influences tend to be in the 70's and 80's Rock genre, with some Plasmatics and Sade mixed in. My all-Time favorite band is Tokyo Jihen.
I have a Vester (Jackson copy) that I've used for 25 years or so. Also a couple of Ibanez's (RG, Artcore), a Schecter 5-string bass, Gibson Les Paul (Goth), a Yamaha ES6 synth, Behringer mixer and monitors, Sonar X3 and various VSTs.
I'm extremely lazy, so its along stretch between new tunes! Be patient.
