If you were around when Rachel Little started taking voice lessons at age six, you might have thought, "this kid's got potential!" Nowadays, when 18-year old Rachel picks up the mike, you understand why people are starting to take notice.
Rachel has teamed with veteran songwriter/producers Grammy nominated Jayne Olderman and J. Donte Harris to create AND co-write her CD on Racaday Records entitled "Look in the Mirror". This body of work is a true expression of how passionate Rachel is about becoming a viable force within the music industry.
Because of her interest in helping other kids, Rachel has utilized her considerable talents to record songs that encourage her fans to see the strength within themselves and not allow outside influences to dampen their dreams. Songs like Look In The Mirror focus on teen bullying; It Happens (Sometimes) suggests the possibility of young love conquering all obstacles and lasting always and forever, Fall In Love With Me centers on understanding how to love yourself before loving someone else and Better Let It Go deals with knowing when to end a tempestuous relationship.
I have been singing to audiences since I was six. My biggest thrill is to be on stage. I was part of the 500 Songs For Kids charity event this past May (2007) at Smith's Olde Bar.
I really love all types of music. Country, pop, gospel, R&B, rock, alternative, classical, you name it, I will listen to it. It makes me more aware of what I want my music to sound like.
I am learning to play guitar. I want to expand my horizons.
