FAQ
Why would I need a license?
A license is needed if you want to use the music for anything else than just listening for your pleasure. Typical uses are
- freestyling over a beat
- licensing music for use in TV or for a movie
- remixing or use audio samples
What are the license options and what are the differences between those?
We offer up to 5 license templates (Basic, Premium, Track Out, Unlimited, Exclusive) and it's up to the artist which ones he/she wants to make available. Each license comes with different perks. In general, the higher the price, the better the perks.
You can click on each feature on the left side of the comparison chart above to learn more about each one.

When will I get the track I purchased?
You can download all related files immediately after your purchase. We also email you a one-time download link for a download later.
How can I remove the audio tag from the track?
A "tagged beat" is a demonstration version of an instrumental that contains distinct audio watermarks that typically play throughout the entire track. The purpose of a producer tagging his/her instrumental is to prevent piracy and to encourage serious recording artists to purchase a license.
To get a tag-free audio please make sure you purchase a license which features "untagged audio".

I purchased a $1 download, why is the beat still tagged?
Beats purchased for $1 in our store are meant for streaming and demo use only, just like downloads from iTunes store or Amazon music.
To license a beat without audio tag and to use in a professional manner please buy a license from this page. Usually those are $25 and up.

What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file
you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.
Albums
My name is Tony Cunha, songwriter, producer, arranger, producer, recording engineer, guitarist, bassist and piano songwriter, producer and arranger. Been involved in music at an early age. Released 4 CDs, working on a new CD.
Band/artist history
It all started with me reading music and learning how to play guitar at the age of 8. Afterwards in 1973 got my first spring concert. Playing in front of 300 people with a few of my friends. Later on my interest had grew and grew to where I am now. Writing, recording, producing and arranging my own material with working alongside with other independent writers like Ralph Watley, Stan Janakitias, Laura Collins-Narin, John Cunha, Alan Perry, Martin Petry, Simon Read, Malika, and Dean Keeling was a learning experience and huge thrill which helped me collaborating. Right now heading back to my roots.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
With the band, The Capitalists had performed total of 300 shows all over New England.
Had a few open-mic shows. Now Im really content of just writing, recording, mastering my own music and having fun with it. After all it its not fun then why do it. Best part no longer have to fight and clash ideas with other ego personalities. Not anymore just love being creative with other people that I work with. Best moments is when I put a project together and later hear the whole thing from beginning to end. And hear how it sounds. Becomes like a jigsaw puzzle.
Your musical influences
Alot to ask to list down but everything starts with The Beatles, The Who, Badfinger, U2, Stone Temple Pilots, Green Day
What equipment do you use?
4-track Tascam and USB428 multi-recorder in 1992 later on end up getting 8 track reel to reel recorder. Today using Steinberg Cubase, Sony Mastering Software. Using many VST Instruments plugins. Like East West, BFD, EZ Drummer as well as Band In The Box Professional. Fab Four Virtual design by the engineers of Abbey Roads. Tomorrow who knows what it will be. Technology is always moving ahead. Fender Stratocaster, Carvin Stereo GS, Guitar, Fender Jazz Bass, my PC, the use of Rockman, POD 6.
Anything else?
Well yes, want to thank everyone very kindly whoever comes to listen to my songs. Like to say thank you very much for coming. Without you it would not have been. Thank you for the love and support. And also a very special thank you thru the many years to my brother John. Whom I love and trust for showing me the way to the sound of music and to give me the direction that I needed to be where I am now with everything. Without him it would not have been. Wife and kids for their support.
