Matt Palmer is a 20-year old R&B/Pop singer, songwriter and producer. He is looking for a management and production team. Please contact him if interested.
Matt Palmer began writing songs six years ago at age 14. Already a fan of Pop/R&B artists like Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey, he honed his craft day-in and day-out behind his household piano. His heartfelt songs and impassioned vocals caught the attention of then-manager Rudy Brammer, who put him in the studio with producer K-Fam (Destiny's Child), songwriter/producer Adonis (Beyoncé), and songwriter Kenny Hickson (Carl Thomas).
Through various sessions with these R&B heavyweights, Matt learned the key to a powerful song is in the production just as much as the songwriting. He promptly invested in a Triton Keyboard and an MPC2000 drum machine and spent 2 years learning about music production hands-on and creating his CD Getaway. Matt released the 14-track disc independently, and the tracks got him into NYU's competitive Clive Department of Recorded Music.
Matt is now looking to find a manager and production team to help develop him as a songwriter and a recording artist. He is looking to put together a high-quality demo to shop to record labels as an artist and a songwriter for other artists. If interested, please contact him by phone or e-mail at your earliest convenience.
Yes. I've played a couple of showcases in New York in Atlanta and I love it. I get very nervous beforehand but I can't think of something more exciting than performing in front of a live audience.
