Ae Fond Kiss
This is a re-working of a Robert Burns song written in 1791. Burns is one of Scotland's favorite poets/lyricists and this is a dedication from us to his beautiful work.

Celtic Chill is a project I put together at the beginning of 2007. Originally from Scotland I am now living in Wales. After playing many years in various rock bands I wanted to get back to my Celtic roots and play the music and the sounds which still inspire and lift me onto another level.
I am a single dad and my biggest inspiration is my 14 year old son. The track "Dove" taken from my first CD release "Beyond the Mist" was written for him when he was 4 years old. It still is to this day the most precious and personal piece of music I have written.
I work from my home studio here in Wales. My creativity comes and goes and I guess I am my biggest critic in the process. Things could always be better mixed, played, produced etc, but there comes a time when you just have to go with the best you can accomplish otherwise nothing would ever be completed.
I have composed for a variety of media projects including TV, radio etc. Nowadays between a full time job and being a full time parent I can only grab a few hours a week for composing music. I wouldn't have it any other way. It is such a joy being a parent and to be teaching my son the basics of music and recording as well as enjoying the other things in life that parenting brings.
That is a little bit about me. Hopefully you will enjoy my music. If you want to know anything else, please just drop me a line . Also, please feel free to join the mailing list. I often send out links for free mp3 downloads to those on the mailing list, so what are you waiting for?
I toured quite extensively in the 1990's but now between having a full time job and being a single parent playing live at the moment isn't on my schedule though I do miss it form time to time.
I have so many influences which range from classical to heavy rock.
