This is another 'collaboration' with Jesus Oldman. He very kindly sent me some lyrics to use in a song. I wrote a snappy little tune and used some of his lyrics and some of my own. I'm very happy with the result.

A personal favourite from the Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd. My intention here was not to record a 'copy' of the original but to record a version that captures the feel, energy and general vibe of 1967 I'd like to dedicate this to Vanessa. and to Syd.

I've always liked this song from The Cars debut album from when it was first released in 1978. Someone recently said that some of my songs and arrangements reminded them of The Cars. So, I decided to actually record a song by The Cars...here it is.

A medium paced song about friendship. There's a lot of guitar interest in this song. I used my new Line 6 Pod Go processor. For a change I used my old black Fender Squier Telecaster Deluxe (a two humbucker model).

A pop song that started life as something in the style of The Police. That idea got a little submerged as the session progressed. It certainly has elements of their trademark sound in the clean chorused guitar riff.

Yes, it's meant to be LOUD. Sound-wise, this is an intentional throw-back to a Big 1970s style Stadium-Rock Guitar sound. Oh yes, I had lots of fun doing this. guitars used were: Yamaha Revstar 420 and Rickenbacker 4003 bass

A recording with 'left field', weirdness ... Flicker & Fade, is turning out to be a bit of a 'Weird' album so far.

A slightly reflective melancholy song in a powerful pop rock setting. Lots of harmony vocals. I enjoyed recording those parts just as much as I did recording all the various guitar parts.
