I'm a self-taught composer and musician.
I started out singing in one of Norway's most famous boys choirs when I was very young, so you could say I have a classical background.
And that's about the only real education I ever had in classical music.
I started to play the guitar at about 9 or 10.
About the same time I started playing keys.
In the late 90's I had my big electronica period, and that's when I started with computer sequencing and synths.
But I have always been very fond of soundtracks and film scores.
Nowadays I barely listen to anything else but classical and film-scores.
With the latest samplings of real life orchestras and instruments, it's getting pretty cool to work with classical. The sounds keep getting better and better.
And it's starting to get real fun to compose music. Scoring jobs are coming in, and i develop my style and skills every day :)
