She and John Dixon perform a duo show and Lee Ann has a wonderful solo career. Lee Ann has 4 CD's to her credits...which includes her latest solo endeavor "Miss Rhythm" and a Christmas CD with John Dixon. Lee Ann performs at the Orange Blossom Opry in Weirsdale, FL.....the Florida Sunshine Opry in Eustis, FL and the Florida Carriage Museum & Resort near Weirsdale, FL, as well as many other Central Florida venues. Lee Ann thrives on her music.....and you can feel it in her.... heart and soul.....!
Band/artist history
Lee Ann has been performing professionally since she was 12 yrs old. Was extremely popular in her home state of Texas. Quit the music business for 13 yrs....but returned to the business in the fall of 2005. In less than 2 months....her schedule was completely full. And now, only 2 yrs into it......she is very busy and the happiest she's been in her life!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Lee Ann plays live in and around Central Florida at present. But for many years played the road and her home state of Texas.
Your musical influences
Brenda Lee, Connie Smith, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn......but also was influenced by Elvis, the Beatles, Linda Ronstadt, Karen Carpenter, Heart, Jennifer Warnes, Bonnie Raitt, Aretha Franklin, Irma Thomas, The Pointer Sisters and The Andrew Sisters!
What equipment do you use?
Slingerland Drums....(purple) and ONLY the best....Zildjian cymbals...!! I prefer Pro-Mark drumsticks.....Ludwig Speed King bass pedal. I have to admit though, the new Zildjian purple dip drumsticks....ROCK!
Anything else?
Listen to Lee Ann sing...She has a dynamic and powerful voice! Her voice is bluesy, soulful, sultry and it drips with a deep richness. Lee Ann doesn't just sing the words to a song....she feels every word and every note....and that spills over onto her audience!
