Back Then
I almost just third personed this...I am 22 and I feel everything every other 22 year feels. I have loved, I have lost, I have done ridiculously stupid things, but I've also had my moments. I've lied, I've cried, I've stood strong, I've been honest. I've been everything and felt like nothing and the other way around. I have taken all of this, what is real, my hopes and dreams, and what I am just so unsure of and put it into song. Everything I write is directly inspired by some external event or internal crisis within the spectrum of my life. The words, the music, the arrangments are all personal but, I hope on some universal level, people relate and just feel okay knowing most of us simply don't know. I, however, am lucky to know that I love something.
Band/artist history
Well, being just me, there is only one story to tell. My love affair with music stems way back. At age five I recognized my affinity for singing when I was laying hard into "How am I suppose to Live Without You" (yes, by Mr. Michael Bolton). Fast foward through nearly 10 years of nothing but sports, sports, and more sports to when my mom bought me my first guitar. I dabbled in band play for a while but no one really was in it for the music (yes those are heavy words for an 8th grader). Moving along to sophomore year, I joined chorus; and I was the only guy to do so in, well, a long time at HHS. Before long I was taking voice lessons, taking chorus twice a day, and spending a good portion of my summers at voice camp. All the while still being heavy into hockey. When it came time to "choose a college" I decided to drop hockey so I could focus on music. Many missed classes and broken hearts later I actually started getting good. I started recording and playing shows my junior year and have been at it since. My latest work, in my eyes, is clear evolution. The album should be out in the very near future and from there it is full steam ahead. So, if you've got tracks, this train is coming.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Playing live is the absolute best --- I am in love with it. I play in and around Boston. Anytime people come out to watch and support you is special.
