SoloS forges "Me, Myself and SoloS"
VACAVILLE, Calif. The temperature in this sleepy corner of Solano County is getting hotter as SoloS blazes onto the music scene with his debut CD titled Me , Myself and SoloS.
Creative hooks, melodic bass lines and pounding drum beats, lace SoloS first outing into the world of rap music. The sound is winning fans and creating a buzz that is hard to ignore.
The story behind SoloS is just as interesting as his debut CD. He started out as a singer in a metal band. After having numerous disagreements, as well as differences in musical styles, with his fellow bandmates, SoloS jumped ship and decided to form his own one-man band.
I never really felt right being in a metal band, he said. I was raised on old-school Hip Hop like LL Cool J and Run DMC. When acts like N.W.A and Eazy E, Digital Underground, Mac Dre, and Tupac blasted on the scene, there was no turning back for me. Hip hop was where it was, and where its at.
SoloS uses real-life experiences growing up in places including Daly City, American Canyon, Napa and Vacaville, to give listeners a glimpse into the daily struggles that he faces while trying to come up as a Salvadorean rapper.
The music takes healthy doses of hyphy, gangsta, funk and high-energy to forge SoloS signature sound. SoloS takes listeners into the world of Bay Area-style partying with U.S.BAY. In Salvis SoloS lets loose his Salvi Pride, raps about his nationality and how he adjusted to life in the United States.
SoloS Hatas is dedicated to the individuals who love to hate and How I Roll is a lesson SoloS learned a long time ago Dont trust anyone.
All around the Bay Area and beyond. I'm taking this worldwide.
