The Scanner Freaks were conceived with a driving energy and a DIY (do it your self) ethic in the autom of 2004. Over the following year and a half, the band honed in on it's sound before finding a vocalist. With the line up completed, the band began to focus on a demo that they recorded them selves. It wasn't long before they hit the stage, instantly winning audiences over with their powerhouse style of edgy, melodic, post punk rock. They began donating blood for an upcoming CD to contain a knockout punch of memorable blasts of catchy tunes. However, all good things must come to an end... and for The Scanner Freaks it did.
