It is not easy living up to title of The Fresh Prince of New York, but for PUSH! Montana, it is his passion and conviction that makes his success look cool and effortless. Like many hustlers on the mic, his story may seem slightly familiar, but it is how he actually lives, interprets his life and articulates those experiences that make his movement refreshingly gritty and innovative. As co-CEO of Money In The Bank, LLC, PUSH! Montana has opted to channel his passions about his life, music and business into creating an authentic brand that will be at the forefront of hip hops evolution into a global lifestyle. Ive always been the type of person who had the ambition and foresight to create opportunities for myself and with hip-hop, Id like to share my passion for the music and business in the same vein. At just twenty-two years old, the charismatic Brooklyn native has achieved a tremendous amount of success as a result of his street savvy, diligence and vision. He is best described by his peers as being cut from a different cloth because of his unique personality and mentality and competitive spirit and winning attitude. Since his days as an all-city basketball player at Canarsie high school, PUSH! Montana has been well recognized for his talents and endless drive and determination to being one of the best. Having persevered through various obstacles such as run-ins with the law and the loss of close friends, he has been able to maintain his work ethic, credibility and authenticity while achieving success, but it is his integrity and humility that he values the most. Now with a strong foundation, PUSH! Montana utilizes his natural gift from God (as he describes) to speak directly from his heart and expose the truth to his audience. I dont rap about stuff that I dont have or things I havent experienced. The way I see it thats cheating. How can you be true to yourself and whats around you if youre rapping about things you dont have? Me, I speak about the moment and not through imagination. What sets PUSH! Montanas music apart is his ability to make songs that are full of substance and raw emotion. Influenced by legends Big Daddy Kane, Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z, he is poised to become a great hip-hop emcee. His aggressive delivery and gruff voice combined with his flawless flows and witty rhymes command the attention of all types of listeners. Drawing off unlikely influences such as Huey P. Newton, the crafty lyricist is not afraid to display his intelligence and bluntly address issues that affect his community. Songs like the revealing Mask Off!, show PUSH! Montana criticizing rappers for their lack of creativity and originality and display of a deceitful image. He lashes out This villians verb are so vivid, you feel me vibin in ya living room/and right beside of you, providing you with real facts, real talk/most of these rapper dudes aint real cats As a "hood capitalist", PUSH! Montana naturally thinks outside the box about success. He is a visionary who is capable of seeing business situations from new, broader perspectives, and applying creative solutions to existing problems. In 2005, after being co-signed and featured on Hustle Hard Entertainment artist Mainos song Disgrace to B.I.G., PUSH! Montana created a buzz in the streets that continues to circulate throughout NYCs hip-hop scene even garnering the recognition of hip-hop influentials DJ Kay Slay and Sickamore as well as street legend Calvin Klein. Now with the current release of his street album When PUSH! Comes To Shove: The Fresh Prince of N.Y., Vol. 2 on his companys imprint, PUSH! Montana is focused and prepared to expand his empire among hip-hops elite.
