Hi, I'm Ljova. Ljova is the Russian informal version of my formal name, Lev. Funny how the informal is longer than formal, isn't it?
Anyhow, I am so happy that you have surfed to this page. For what it's worth, my music is really DIFFERENT than what you might usually listen to. By that I mean is that it's really diverse. I enjoy musical diversity, and write music in many many genres and styles. That's the beauty of being classically trained and optimistic about everything else.

Born in Moscow Russia, moved to New York. Was classically trained at Juilliard, then found a heaven on mp3.com, where I've been uploading my music for several years, and where you may listen to it for free. Found many like-minded musicians on mp3.com, started collaborating. Life is great.Have you performed in front of an audience?I often play live. I also write/record music for the internet, very often. I love collaborating.
Your musical influences
I love people who dare to be different, who are versatile and who are interesting. As a kid, I have amasssed a collection of over 700 CDs, most of which are classical. I still have them.
I love music which has either or all of these characteristics:
Experimental, Minimalist, or Folk.
In particular:
John Zorn, Björk, Paolo Conte, Alban Berg, Sigur Rós, King Crimson, Miles Davis .... and many many internet musicians who i'll be sure to tell you about later.What equipment do you use?
Custom-built PC workstation running Logic Audio, Roland DS-50 monitors, Korg Triton, Neumann Microphone.Anything else?
I can babble forever about the merits of this and that... but my job is not to over-educate you. So please listen to the music "and don't mind me". :)
