Water Lillies

This improvised piece begins as a little rocker, let's you know where it is going, and implies that it will get there. But just as it lures you to resolution, we purposefully induce a fade-out.

A Fundamental Truth

There is a fundamental truth to our nature.
INTENSITY ! steps outside of popular music structures, improvises its compositions, and experiments with whatever is available. This allows us to explore free jazz and progressive music that goes in any direction to places where musical pitch is not always restricted to conventional tonal systems.
Band/artist history
Int the 70's, the project known as INTENSITY! started a a loose collective of musicians seeking a format for experimentation without boundaries. In the early to mid-90's, we took a more rigorous look at the project and moved to a defined line-up. Members assembled every few months for an evening of musical madness, fueled at first by a little chutzpah and a lot of Cuervo. This incarnaton learned to eschew the Cuervo without sacrificing the basic 'wrongness' of the whole concept, and has now brought it out into the public domain.
