I love so many different styles of music and such a broad range of artists that this list should be much longer, but I guess the kind of people who have influenced my writing the most are: Mike Oldfield, Enigma, Massive Attack, Faithless, Jean-Michel Jarre, Jan Hammer, Vangelis....amongst many, many others!
