Opening up for groups like the Gaither's, Stamps, Cathedrals, Florida Boys and many other regional and national groups all over the United States. She is now performing not only Gospel but Pop, Country,Jazz and R&B. Denise cut her first album last year at Mira Vista Studios recording six original songs written by Steve Grisham, Sharon Vaughn and she helped do a re-write on one with Steve. Currently she is perfroming with a Band called R-Style, singing at the Orange Blossom Opry, Austin's Carriage Museum and doing shows all over Central Florida as a one woman show. Denise has a great stage presence and relates well with her audience.
Band/artist history
Having not performed for many years my husband talked me into entering a talent contest in 2006. This of course gave me the desire to start perfroming again and with the support of friends and family I'm back in it up to my elbows.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, I am working with 2 bands right now, the Git-R-Done band and R-Style. I also do a 1 woman show with performance tracks.
Your musical influences
My mother being a song writer and a wonderful talented musician and singer made me what I am today. I also grew up listening to groups like the carpenter's, Osmonds,Eagles,Chicago, loving many styles of music and loving them all which is why today I incorporate a large variety of music in my shows.
What equipment do you use?
Phonics 800 watt head and 12" monitors, lap top and a great sound man (my hubby)
Anything else?
Just hope you will enjoy my music, I have a new album I am working on now with songs written by my mother Virginia and a few friends. Thank you for taking time to get to know me! Musically yours, Denise Tyler
