Why would I need a license?
A license is needed if you want to use the music for anything else than just listening for your pleasure. Typical uses are
  • freestyling over a beat
  • licensing music for use in TV or for a movie
  • remixing or use audio samples
What are the license options and what are the differences between those?
We offer up to 5 license templates (Basic, Premium, Track Out, Unlimited, Exclusive) and it's up to the artist which ones he/she wants to make available. Each license comes with different perks. In general, the higher the price, the better the perks.
You can click on each feature on the left side of the comparison chart above to learn more about each one.
When will I get the track I purchased?
You can download all related files immediately after your purchase. We also email you a one-time download link for a download later.
How can I remove the audio tag from the track?
A "tagged beat" is a demonstration version of an instrumental that contains distinct audio watermarks that typically play throughout the entire track. The purpose of a producer tagging his/her instrumental is to prevent piracy and to encourage serious recording artists to purchase a license.
To get a tag-free audio please make sure you purchase a license which features "untagged audio".
I purchased a $1 download, why is the beat still tagged?
Beats purchased for $1 in our store are meant for streaming and demo use only, just like downloads from iTunes store or Amazon music.
To license a beat without audio tag and to use in a professional manner please buy a license from this page. Usually those are $25 and up.
What is a stem / trackout file?
A Stem file is an audio file that contains a track split into several musical elements: A drums stem, a bassline stem, a harmony stem, and a lead stem for example.
The Stem file also usually includes the original stereo master of the track for standard playback.
Why would I need a stem / trackout file?
A trackout file gives you much better control. Imagine you rap over a beat and you realize the percussions take the focus away from your vocals. With a trackout file you can simply tone down the percussion and the focus is now on the vocals. With a trackout file you have much more flexibility and a whole different level of control.

Band/artist history
My history? O.K. I grew up in New York, mostly on Long Island(from Brooklyn out to the points-Orient & Montauk)I played Violin as a kid & dabbled with my Martin accoustic.I got my 1st electric (memphis)at the age of 15 yrs old.I used "the Heavy Guitar Bible"to learn how to play.I also did a little internship for a few months at "Sweet Mountain Recording Studios" owned by the "Sugar Hill" record label as an assistant engineer.the 1st band I was in that played out after attempts with several projects was "HeatSeeker" an AC/DC cover band. There was a short lived stint playing bass with "Saliva"(probably not the same band your thinking of)doing "Metalica" covers. Then "United Nations" which was half covers & half originals. Then a few original projects "Sleepers Wake","J.D. & The Groovy Juvies"'"Harveys Drool","Mad Hatter" & I'm sure theirs more I can't remember.During this time I moved to Atlantic City New Jersey & Ashville North Carolina For A While, then back to New York. On Dec 4th 1999 I got into a motorcycle accident.I crushed my right tib,fib & ankle so I was layed up for the better part of the year.I got plenty of practice & during the later part of the summer of 2000 i made some appearances with George Lightning & his band doing cover tunes with a cast on my leg.During that fall I moved to South Florida & awaited my settlement check.I made a make shift recording stuidio useing & old Stereo ,1967 Maginivox home entertainment center,Fostex 4 track recorder,a drum machine my friend found in the garbage & microphones that I made myself out of a telephone & the speaker from the drum machine.Thats How "Sorceror's Delight - EOD was recorded. After recieveing that settlement check from the accident I went & bought some equipment(Sony Vaio Digital Studio,Magix6 Delux 48 track program,a small p.a. system,Marshall half stack,Ludwig drum set,microphones,stands,etc...).I rented a warehouse hired Fej(Jeff Kieser) to play drums for me(payed him with that Ludwig set & he did some vocals & keyboards aswell) & we recorded the albumn "EviL Geniuses - Songs for Hire". After that I did 2 more solo albumns "EOD - Beyond EviL" & "EOD - Suicide Notes & Love Letters" which I played all tracks on myself. I spent 5 yrs playing with "Wake the Neighbors"or "Stewd" we were been doing open jams in the Fort Lauderdale area of south Florida. I'm currently in the New Orleans area considering musicians for my next project.I've recently released my 5th solo album"E.O.D.'s Rock N Roll Masterpiece Poetry in Motion. I was making appearances with the cover band"Total Package" in the south east Louisiana area. I decided to leave that project. The current Project I'm playing with is "Dead Men of Dunharrow" my website is currently back up www.eodkingnothingscastle.com ....

Your musical influences
What equipment do you use?
I prefer Gybson's flying "V" (THE NECK BROKE-I WILL HAVE THAT FIXED SOON). I now play a an O.L.P. Double Neck,Johnson electric & Indiana Shannondale accoustic. I've had many guitars Gybson V,SG & Custom Les Paul,Fender Strat Plus(spurtsal gears are awsome),Honner's Flying V Devil(it was named Satan),Cort's Flying V,Ibanez,Fox(company went under),Seqova(hollow body)Memphis(my 1st electric).I now use Digitech RP350 sound processor & BOSS DD-6 Delays for electric. Accoustic guitars-Martin,Fender,Harmony,Silvertone,Honner,American Indiana & thats all of them I can think of right now. For my rig i use a Samson S6 & Nady SPM-6300 mixer amplifier P.A. heads with a Bullfrog 4 x 12 cabinet & 2 15" Pa Speakers(Radio Shak).Got A Peavy ...With the advent of sound processors my usual Marshall amps have been traded(I'm happy with the sound).
