I played off and on with bands as singer or guitarist for about 5 years, and it never worked out. I write every day and I needed a way to vent and continue writing without the help or annoyance of band members, so I went solo on the side. It suits me for now, but I'd like to get a band together that actually goes somewhere, everyone is too damn lazy, these days.
Yes, when I can. I've played clubs and bars and parties. I love playing live. My first show at Charleroi was my special moment. I was surrounded by good people and nice bands. Good time.
Oh man. Fiona Apple. Regina Spektor. Jorane. Alanis Morsette. The Dresden Dolls. Those people influence me alot but I started when I heard Agent M with Tsunami Bomb, that really kicked me off. I listen to mostly hardcore music, but I love solo musicians. It's rough being alone without any collaboration.
