This Texas heat's a killer

I wanted a live, loose feel on this one, and each take is the first take: guitar and vocal (recorded at the same time), acoustic kit, and bass (first time through bass amp).

There's about four seconds of silence in the beginning. This is the second song I ever wrote back around 1991 or 1992, and the first thing I recorded on GarageBand OS X in 2005 using a Radio Shack mic.
