I'm Douglas Van Dyke and am a part of the Fat Bellied god project.
The FBg project started around 1990 in my friends house in Blue Island, Il. Anyone who came over was welcomed to mess with musical instruments. None of us were (are) accomplished musicians, we'd get high and grab hold of various instruments and start to jam. Some of that shit sounded good, so we carried on. It's been awhile since the last FBg jam session and in the interval I started making my own dissonant compositions/sounds.

I don't claim to be a musician, I'm a painter/poet. I create dissonant sounds used mostly as background for my lyrics/prose promoting my metaphysical beliefs.
