Romsås Janitsjars major goal is to become the leading entertainment wind/marching band in Oslo Norway.
To reach this aspiring and challenging target we have a very simple philosophy: we want to attract and entertain our audience, as an enthusiastic audience is the most inspiring driving force a band could have. Thanks to dedicated work and a focused team spirit, we are well on our way to achieve this goal.
The band plays modern entertainment music, partly arranged by our conductor, Bjørn Morten Kjærnes.
Counting almost 70 musicians, Romsås Janitsjar represents the non-professional, but still skilled and high quality driven, wind/marching band tradition of Norway at its best.
