Time Spent Wasted

Good guitar rock song...kinda slow rythym but grows on you
The Flaherty Bros.Band started playing the local Lowell,Ma and surrounding towns in the early 70's. We played many summers at Salisbury Beach in Ma. Our set list was mostly covers until we changed personell and decided to do our own material. These are some of the songs on our CD called "No Wack At All" .Hope you like them as they were recorded in the late 80's but still are easy to listen to.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes..all the time ..throughout New England..Most special moments were winning the WBCN/Sweet Potato Battle of the bands consisting of three nights of semi finals with some excellnt bands...and backing up Foghat at the Frolics at Salisbury Beach
Your musical influences
Music influences were mostly two guitar bands as me and by brother both played lead guitar. Later we worked in the harp with new singer Dave Holt.
What equipment do you use?
Mostly old Marshalls and BC Rich original guitars from the 80's...bassist uses Hartke equipment and Fender,Rickenbacker guitars
Anything else?
That's about it ...we hope people like some of our songs from back then and appreciate them for the music...not compare them to to today's rock., (just for what they are).. which I totally enjoy 'cause I'm a musician and always will appreciate music no matter what kind it is and the fact that my son plays guitar and plays all the new music out there now plus his own bands..("This Side Up") originals. I've had the opportunity to run sound for his band and enjoyed it just like when we were playing our own..it was just like being on the opposite side...His guitar playing is exceptional..kinda in the blood i guess..That's not tooting my own horn either!!Like Father,Like Son...There is absolutley nothing like playing onstage with your son,,it's priceless and is plenty rewarding for all my years of "work" in MUSIC!!!
