We are paralysis, we're a metal band from miami we play anywhere and everywhere. If you havent heard us you will one day.
Paralysis, originally a progressive band, was reformed by Mike and Chris (dravend) as a metal band. Mike, came to Miami from California and met a friend that introduced him to music. Mike would eventually pick up the bass guitar and has been playing ever since. Chris originally an aspiring solo acoustic musician would eventually pick up the electric guitar and start playing metal after a heated discussion with an acquaintance. Chris and Mike would write songs with a number of different people in Paralysis (former members can be seen on the left). It seems like there would never be a steady lineup until Chris Hayze and his brother Justin joined the band. Chris H. has been playing guitar for about 5 years and was friends with Chris Dravend in highschool. He instantly fit in well with the band. A few weeks after Chris's joining, Paralysis was searching for a new drummer. Chris suggested his brother Justin, who was new to metal drumming but had been playing for a few years. After a few weeks of audition, Justin was accepted into Paralysis as a drummer. Soon after play some shows instrumentaly, and desperatly searching for a vocalist, Emilio would join as the official vocalist and frontman of paralysis. The band is now complete.
We play live in miami for now, we play at any place we can get, and we are regulars at the Indie pit. One special moment would the second show we played bass player mike played with such intensity that his fingers were bleeding at the end of the set.
