Ambient, Moody... Soulful, Bluesy...
They say that music is the language of the soul, and nothing could be truer for the music of BLP Brian Lucas Project. Brian's music continues to reach people around the world and his song "Setting Sun" has eclipsed millions of views on YouTube. Thanks for checking in.
I played guitar as a kid but stopped in my early teens and never picked one up again until 2003. Now all this music that has been bottled up in my head over the last three decades is slowly starting to come out. Since 2014 I've had 4 surgical procedures on my fretting hand. With each surgery I've had to go through many hours of physical therapy to regain my mobility and dexterity. Unfortunately the surgeries have left me with some permanent nerve damage but I don't let that get me down. I continue to play as best I can. Making music and playing guitar is what brings me happiness.
David Gilmour, Robin Trower, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Doyle Bramhall II, Billy Gibbons, Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons Project, Mato Nanji
Fender and Gibson guitars, Fender, Bugera and Marshall amps, Trailer Trash pedal board, Fulltone, RetroSonic, Boss, DLS, MXR, Line 6 and Loop Master pedals.
Music has the power to transport us to another time and place. Since a young age, I've found great joy and satisfaction in making music. Everything I create and play I do in the spirit of lifting myself and anyone else up. I pour positive thoughts into my music in hopes it will convey an equally positive experience to anyone listening.
