My interest/obsession with songwriting and pop music has led to me creating songs at home on my computer. If you want to know specifics about software, you can e-mail me.
There would be no Greyfield if it were not for the talents, help, advice and encouragement of Chris O'Connor. He knew long before I did that I needed to be using digital recording software to make songs, and he coaxed me in that direction over the course of a couple of years. He's immensely talented in music and art...you can see his art at choipaint.com. He's a terrific person. Thanks, Chris!
I don't have the live performance gene! I wish I did.
Start with the 1920s and work on up to about the middle of last week! That about covers it.
Sonar 5, Battery 2, Pentagon, a bunch of virtual synth stuff.
My only advice: listen to everything! Then you'll really know what you like.
