Avell came up listening to classic hip hop artist like run d.m.c, L.L. cool j, and public enemy. He is a walking encyclopedia of hip hop knowledge. Always with his head in a book he began rapping at the tender age of 10. He was part of a pee wee street dancing team in his home town of L.A. California were he originates from the East Side. Avell came up in a musical environment (his mother was a professional vocalist in an R&B group) his exposure to music from an early age instilled in him a love and respect for all music. He's performed in front of thousands and is as comfortable on stage as he is in the studio. Making his move to Las Vegas in 2002 ushered in a new area in his development as an artist, he is now reaching his peak and ready to take the world by storm.
