When i called out to God i was a drug addict and a drug dealer i was badly hooked on meth i couldnt change on my own but when i called out to the living god he took me in he saved me and then he began to change me, believe me outward change doesnt always happen instanley but change in the heart does, from the moment you ask jesus into your heart you are changed you are saved, God will change you from the inside out.
