Bells of Michelle consists of three members, Jesse Blurton on guitar/vocals, Josh Glenn on drums/vocals, and Garland Zane Smith on bass guitar. Jesse and Josh sing about half songs each and provide each other with crisp background vocals. Zane's unique bass riffs provide the band with a unique and deep sound along with Jesse's original hard rock riffs. Josh's talented drumming tops off each unique song with a twist. BOM loves to rock by playing either a good cover song or an original tune. BOM has many roots from bands like The Offspring, Weezer, Collective Soul, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Killers, Pennywise, etc. The venue's BOM play in include graduation parties, local events, and the band also partake in events such as talent shows and battle of the bands.
B.O.M. doesn't have much history. Started jammin' to Collective Soul and Green Day tunes for Jesse's graduation party and eventually started writing our own music. The band has gone through 3 singers since the beginning. The end result is Jesse and Josh sing and it is the best system.
B.O.M. plays live anywhere, anytime, and loves doing it. We once played a graduation party and surprised the graduate by telling her we couldn't come but she came blindfolded and we started playing, good times...
The band has an interesting musical spectrum. Jesse is more of a rocker, Zane is a punk rocker, and Josh is softer. Each of us has our own influences and it shows in our music. Examples would be, Collective soul, Green day, pennywise, Red hot chilli peppers, chevelle, etc.
B.O.M. uses Epiphone, ESP, and Dean guitars and bass, Marshall amps, nady P.A., and Enforcer drums.
