Celebration (1976) Revisited

JESUS RULES O.K?
An early attempt at rock gospel! (With a dash of craziness thrown in)

Smile God Loves You :-)
An encouragement to embrace the Christian message in the hope it may put a smile on your face :-)

1 2 3 4 : Need I say more?
Children's evangelical gospel song that reflects on the idea that if a person is a Christian, then hell is not a destination they are headed towards.

He Knows You Know
A Celebration sing-a-long... later played by Salt, Bananas and Boanerges to name but a few! But this is the original :-)

Psalm150
Although Celebration used to sing this one, the version posted was a demo for a track that eventually apperaed as the first track on my 1984/5 vinyl album 'Jester Before The Throne"

Lord, I'm such a Hypocrite
Take me and mould me, Lord, Let Your Spirit move though me...

Prodigal Song
A reflection that seeks to compare personal spiritual experience with that of the younger son in a parable Jesus told about two siblings.

Song for a Friend
Song that seeks for a friend to understand the gospel message. Copied from an old cassette tape,,, so not hi-fi . lol.

Heres to you , Oh my friend
Song for a friend who had lost their faith. When something that you once shared is no more, it changes the dynamics of a relationship.

Buy Your Own Concorde (paint it bright blue)
If this were a sensible sermon it may be along the lines of 'Where can our hearts find their rest? It is an endless quest... until Christ claims us as His own. Then we are satisfied..' But this is not a sermon. It's a rock song. On the rock.

Destination Zion
A song about discipleship... staying faithful on the road to Zion, while avoiding the pitfalls laid by the devil (who is sometimes pictured as a roaring lion.) It can be a struggle, but grace will lead us home.

No Sympathy for the Devil
In Scripture the devil cowers before the godly power of the Son of God. Jesus refuses to bow down in the face of temptation. We claim the victory in His name and have nothing to fear from tne one whose ultimate destiny is hell.

Where is the Love
Solo version of a song that eventually turned up as track 4/side 2 of my 1984/5 vinyl album "Jester Before The Throne".

Road to Heaven
