I am an artist and creative in every sense of the word but I process life through songs. I strive to make an impact and I am obsessed with personal growth so if you are crying, laughing, relating, or inspired to make a change in your life, I've done my job.

I started producing myself in 1998 because I was afraid to ask for help or how much it would cost. When I started writing in 1995, I recorded myself on a 1987 JVC tape player with a mic jack! Remember those? Then it was a Karaoke Machine that plugged into that boombox. My sophomore year in high school my mom got me a PC for the "internet" haha! The first thing I found was a program to record music and I have been recording ever since! Now everything is created through digital audio workstations and I no longer have to be quiet when I record because I don't live with mom and have a dedicated room for my studio. Let's just say I have come a long way from a PC running Windows 98!

My very first show was at Studio 31 in Corsicana(408 S. 4th Street) then I ventured to parks around the DFW area, small night clubs and eventually into Deep Ellum. I was nervous until the first time I got on stage, but on my way up a man backstage said "It don't matter what you did, long as you had fun doing it!" My special moment was the first time I performed for a 12 step program conference and was able to bring my 2 kids to the show. The looks on their faces were priceless! They said "Dad, you are so good and they really like you!" It was then I realized that I'd made such dirty music that I wasn't able to ever bring my kids to a show. That was the first time they had seen their dad in action and a crowds reaction to it. Changed my whole trajectory of my life!

I have SO many influences but the staples I grow up listening to were 2Pac, Eminem, Warren G, Da Brat, UGK, Snoop Dogg, Outkast, Devin the Dude, Jay-Z, Scarface, Puff Daddy and Mase, The Notorious BIG and as the century turned I was really into Ludacris, Nelly and the whole label domination that was happening with Death Row, Cash Money, DTP, Bad Boy and No Limit. I listen to everything because I just LOVE music so there are some electronic influences like Flume and Deadmau5, some alternative like Panic at the Disco and Gym class heroes. Of course some R&B like Brandy, Mary J Blige, and Whitney Houston. I was obsessed with Lil Wayne and Drake for a little while. Basically any and all music moves my soul and gives me butterflies! I LOVE music!

Anything I can get my hands on? lol Digital Audio Workstations like Acid, Reason, Garage Band. I use live mixers, guitars, keyboards, beat machines, my mouth and any object attached or detached.

Who do you have to BE and what things must you DO in order to HAVE the life you want? BE the change you want to see, DO the things that need to be done and HAVE fun, the rest will come.
