Cletus Baltimore started as a trio made up of Brevard College students in late 2002, recently adding on another member from the college in 2005. The music is ninety percent original song writing material written by Randy Hope, that is described as anything goes, easy rolling jam rock.

Cletus Baltimore started as a trio in late 2002 through 2005. As of March 2006 it as become a four person band. Two guitarist, bass and drums has made the overall sound expand to places that were unheard of.
Cletus Baltimore's home venue is Jordan Street Cafe, Brevard, NC.
Influences would be bands like the Grateful Dead, Phish and lots and lots of jazz artist.
The two guitarist play a Paul Reed Smith into a Mesa Boogie Marks IV, and a Kramer into a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. The bassist plays a 5-string Ibanez from a Hartke head through a 4 X 10 bass cabinet. The drummer plays a Pearl export custom series drum kit with Zildjian cymbals.
