TAKUMO Ent. has been in business for 11 years. When TAKUMO Ent. started in 1995, the first product was a mix tape entitled HILLFIGGAZ Vol 1. An attempt to switch the "N" word for the "F" word. A movement that we still consider to this day. HILLFIGAZ the mix tape sold for $5.00. It would be delivered to you if that's what you needed and you can return it for a full refund if you did not like it. The tape featured TAKUMO Ent. artist, which were local EMCEE's from the neighborhood. The tape did well. In the first month of sells we were offered a spotlite. HILLFIGGAZ WOULD NOW BECOME A NITE CLUB ACT. The tape in it's entirety would be performed from the D.J. mixes down to the artist performing live. Twice a week...Friday and Saturday and we also offered our own talent search called "INTO THE SPOTLITE" The rest as they say....is TAKUMO HISTORY.

We definitly like to perform. I, personally, like the enery that is generated through the crowd and myself...I love the connection.
All the venues have been special, but what stands out in my mind is my very first crowd rocking party where I performed as a D.J. and then as an EMCEE, which really blew a few minds that day....because I was known for my D.J. battle skills.
