Thomas Toivonen. A free jazz guitarist and multiinstrumentalist from Sweden.
I have played guitar for all my life. I was self-taught for many years and this perhaps is why I have developed such a unique sound. I have been studying improvisation with Andy Fite since 1999. Andy Fite's method is to focus on hearing, feeling, and trusting one's own intuition rather than "rules" laid out by different schools of thought. I have also taken some lessons with the legendary jazz pianist Connie Crothers in New York. My main instrument is the guitar but I also play keyboard, drums, percussion and bass among other instruments.
