Have you performed in front of an audience?
les allumettes have shared the stage with bands such as the ss cardiacs, lesbians on exstacy, pony up!, the maynard's, cougar party, the hot springs, the golden famille, books on books, the hussies, the republic of safety and captain foxy. les allumettes are fond of the idea of touring when thier schedules can line up, but so far have just played locally with the exception of a weekend mini tour shared with the maynard's and cougar party. a couple of special events they have played include ladyfest ottawa and the toronto wavelength series
Your musical influences
all of the members of the band are involved in ottawa DIY punk music scene and they are particularly fond of ladyfest which is partially responsible for the creation of the band. some of the bands that they might be influenced by include: sleater kinny, pony up!, the weakerthans, the killers, the amps, eric's trip, sonic youth, the pixies and the secret stars.
