Living in the rain

Andy Durand Andy Durand - Bio I fell in love with music in Tucson, AZ at the age of seven. And have been doing my best to share my Music with everyone, everywhere, that life and my songs will take me. Right now I am Living in the sunny state of Florida performing as a solo artist with some really talented featured players that sit in with me at some of my shows. A few of my songs can be heard on television shows such as Picket Fences and Northern Exposure, as well as, several commercials and Documentaries. And I'v also recorded a movie sound track for a film called "Five Thousand Meters- nothing comes easy" A film by Negative Split Pictures. An international release. And with my solo acoustic shows, I'v been getting some really great and unexpected results that keep getting better and better. My band "Wolf Gang" is Back in demand and will be reforming with a new line up and two C.Ds worth of new material for the next Andy Durand & Wolf Gang project." So please be patience my friends "This will come together. I have also been getting alot positive feedback from all the right people about the new songs with talks and offers for a Andy Durand & Wolf Gang U.K. / European tour with some names I'm sure you've heard of. I Have had The "HONOR" to have performed with alot of my Heros and influences in my music career as a singer songwriter. And all of this has made for a pretty large international inspiring fan base that keeps my Indie butt smilling large. I thank God for my gift and my fans for their Patience and loyalty. I am only as good as the people that listen to my music. You will always be first and foremost to me. Music is a brotherhood, Not a sport. So lend a hand when and wherever you can. I love to play with my dreams, If not imagine them for real. I'm from Tucson,AZ and I learned from mentors Glen Frey,"early Eagles sessions" with Jack Temption,J.D.Souther,& Jackson Brown, Doug Engle' Mark Farner. And a few others....I consider myself to be maturely youthfull in age.I live music as my life. I have boundless imagination, A great sense of humor. And I give everybody I meet in my life, the benifit of the doubt.Untill that changes..I'v been playing music for 39 years. I'v written 286 and 1/2 songs. Vocals, guitar, bass, and drums. Are my insturments. But I hear that I really shine on the guitar".I have been playing some unplugged shows that are up tempo; in delivery. And very original.. I have built a pretty large fan base for Acoustic & solo shows. And also with W.G. I'v also had the opportunity to play all over This country, and others, leaving tapes. c.d,s,... and hopefully,,, some more fans . I'd like to hope, that I have something for every one, with my music. I'v been keeping the attention of the college crowd in the midwest. And Building A pretty large fan base around the country. I Also have another C.D. due for release soon,,it Will be Titled: Andy Durand and Wolf Gang, Half plugged & Electrofried... So keep an ear out for it. I think your going to like it. Until next time then... Always be yourself, And lend a hand when and where you can. Keep it rockin in a free world people.............
Band/artist history
Wolf Gang Genre: Rock (Original Rock) Hometown: Midwest,, Minnesota Wolf Gang was forged in the summer of 1980 as a three piece power band of original, and revised covers. When I say revised" I mean that we rebuilt them. Not just put new paint on them. The original artists already did them great. We have played shows all over The west coast, the mid west, Canada, and South America. For the last Twenty two years. Building a pretty large fan base for our original music. That just keeps getting bigger. Being a session player at times. has opened new doors, that may have other wise been closed.. It's great that at this point, we are reaching alot of the younger crowd with our tunes.. After all we would be nothing without our fans. And they "Are #1 and foremost. Keep it live people ! And remember, Rock n Roll" stands for have a real good time.. It's a brotherhood, Not a sport Members Andrew Durand: Songwriter (Lead Vocals,Lead guitar, acoustic guitars), Chuck Ronquist: Bass, Willy Crayton: Drums

Song reviews for running thru glass.........cool guitar intro! excellent guitar work! very nice! very emotional! lead guitar fits nicely over the rhythm work. vocals are exactly what i was hoping for. nice job! - dacagle from Chbn, Indiana on 21Feb2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- upbeat Original. The acoustic guitar kicks ass. Vocals sound good for this type of music and lead is good too. - cryface from New Smyrna Beach, Florida on 26Jan2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nice guitar work Nice delta bluesy sound at the start. Dig the rattle. This song kicks pretty good. not as hip on the Elvis vocals, but they are done well. i would have kicked some bass and drums into this tune though. It just sounds like it belongs. It would break the song up a little and rock it out too. good tune. - pietrographic from Richmond, Virginia on 11Feb2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- jam acoustic sounds good, needs some drums, shakers are cool, good bluesy type song, killer leads on guitar - QuarterflyTony from Spartanburg, South Carolina on 29Dec2003 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I like it! This song has commercial potential. The guitars mix very well with the vocals. I like the blend of guitars. Good work! - jlmusic2001 from Lumberton, North Carolina on 31Jan2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- good 60s feel this has a very 60s sound to it and that is good i like the song here and the guitar sound is very good a good clean sound with plenty of punch the song is produced well and the vocals fit it very well would think this would sound good live played at a very high volume would get the place rockin - mickyspectrum from Basildon, Essex, United Kingdom on 8Dec2003 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intro The intro is really awesome- the musician who made this is really good at their instrument, you can tell they know what they're doing. The vocals are really good too, and fit the whole songs mood very well. - neodymium from Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 1Jan2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not a bad song at all. Really good guitars. Love the acoustic guitar. This song sounds really good. The lead guitar is good too. It has been put together nicely. Flowing good beat. Vocals is good. - gene0763 from Columbia, Maryland on 14Dec2003 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a fever. And the only cure is MORE SH.. Good stuff. Guitars are tight. Somebody musta got a cramp from doin that shaker so long (or was it a drum machine?). My only suggestions would be these: The lead vocals were a little reverb-heavy. This is alright, except that the backing vocals are really dry in comparison, which makes them stick out too much. Somethin happened on the second half of the guitar solo. It was rockin up till that point. All in all a good, ol' fashioned rock n' roll tune. - Incredible_One from Grand Rapids, Michigan on 25Jan2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bo Diddley metal My main problem here is with the electric tone. It sounds like a chainsaw (and not in a good way). Now...the vocals are fine, the acoustic intro is really nice and the playing is good...but that distortion is BAD. Again, not the playing, the tone. I think I'd like this a lot better even with just the acoustics. Who knows? Maybe it's just a matter of taste. - ChrisMcKay from Athens, Georgia on 3Jan2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good guitars Good guitars lines and the vocals are very good. Very ggod mood and the arrangement seens very nice. The vocal is sweete and powerful. Congratulations. - somba from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil on 13Feb2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nice guitars Nice guitar at the beginning. The vocals are nice, but the voice is almost too soothing. I like the two guitars, electric and acoustic. Nice addition. - TheBarroWites from Eugene, Oregon on 12Feb2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my review first off, i always appreciate a song with both an acoustic and electric...this song is no different--the two axes blend well together. the vocals are ok, nothing spectacular; reminds me of a 70's classic rock tune; not sold on the lyrics, but an excellent piece of music - craig950 from Large, Pennsylvania on 4Jan2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- very cool Based on a one to ten scale..... Production...9 Lyrics...5 Melody...7 Be
