Kelvin Broadus (Prophesizer) was born and raised in the middle GA area and has been highly artistic for all of his life. He first started writing lyrics in elementary school, during the days of Kid N Play and MC Hammer, and never stopped. He has been a part of various groups over the years, and been offered a few record deals, but currently remains independent until the right one comes. He has performed in various talent shows, doing both poetry and rap, and has released his first CD (available for download at www.kelvinbroadus.com) titled "I Had To Do It" under his DBA indie label Artistry At It's Finest. This CD contains songs written mostly during his high school years, along with a few new ones and demonstrates what has been hidden over the years. As the title states, this collection had to be released before going into new more indepth projects, and it is sure to be a treasured classic of hiphop excellence that fans will enjoy forever.
I have been writing rap songs and poetry since elementary school. I've been a part of various groups, but remain solo. I've had small label offers, but am glad now that many didn't work out, for I see where I'd be a lot worse off concerning music if I had signed those times. I enjoy music and will continue, but with desire to help make the world a better place through it.
I don't have any particuluar place I play. I give out CD's as witnessing tools, and will play where requested as long as it is honorable.
My largest influence is Lauryn Hill, musically. I like music that causes you to think, and has substance rather than just a good beat (though good beats are helpful). Just like Ms. Hill, I agree that music is supposed to inspire. I like true hiphop.
Primarily ACID Music Studio, keyboard, and bebox.
