It was so long ago. Logins and Messina, Plants in the window, And Joni Mitchel playing on the radio. There was a boy I knew there and he took off And grew and lived and loved and died. Those truly were the days of guitar music and friends and love and light. Steve Peck died back in 2012. I just found out. Seems like just yesterday we shared a warm hug. I thought you might want to know, so maybe you will see that same light from yesterday that I see. And the young boy became a man, and he ran and ran and ran, but ever found a place to land. Life in the woods without any of you to torment me is good, but I miss the days when we laughed and I listened to you play. These days there is no guitar music to listen to.
