A Simple song about a desired prolonged night
Greetings Salutations and Hello. I Once Dreamt A Dream is the new side project from singer songwriter Spencer Beasley, or me. I started this side project after realizing that i started writing songs that were much differnt than the songs i normally write. I think this is partly due to a new taste in slower music. Regardless it didnt seem right to continue to fill up my repuetoire as a solo artist with these slow sleepytime songs thus I Once Dreamt A Dream was born. Im not sure how well this will actually work out but i do know that im excited to have a place to vent my other writing. These songs are recorded with a voice and an acoustic guitar, maybe the occasional tamborine or shaker. Anyways i hope you enjoy and as the History of I Once Dreamt A Dream unfolds ill update more, so until next time......Band/artist history
See AboveHave you performed in front of an audience?I havent taken the side project live yet it is still in the construction phase

Hey Spencer,
I thought I would stop by and have a listen since I didn't get the right link on your review thread. I am a fan of the low fi indie thing and have a foot on each side of the music world. (lo fi and polished turds) Anyway, listening to Fake Plastic Faces, For Five Easy Payments and I like the laid back feel of this song, very solid strumming and serene vocals. I dig the sarcasm in the lyrics as well, like an understated statement about the sorry state of civilization. I too write stuff when I'm on the can in 5 to 10 mins.lol.....
Anyway, I dig the song it's full of subdued anger if that makes any sense!
