To me Hip Hop is all about lyrics that rhyme smooth. I'm a beginning artist that is still progressing. I've reached new levels for myself when it came to writing lyrics and actualy bringing it on the beat. Currently I'm writing about my conserns and what I'm about. Overload of Dutch rap, but I'm working up my english. Just not gonna bring much since I want to work a bit on my accent.
Azy started to take shape when I was at the beginning of my 18th year. I had written some lyrics when I was 16 before then it was only poetry which got me tought by a teacher who was a good poet himself. Might explain some lyrics come to think of it. I started writing actual songs and recording when I was halfway my 18's. It started out as the well known " I'm gonna break your everything" crap lyrics, but progress came with the process.
I live in Hoorn Holland. I moved there after growing up in Amsterdam-West. Hoorn to me is the save harbour where I can chill and enjoy, ofcourse Amsterdam is where my heart is at. Not the nicest neighberhood, but my memories are mostly nice. (rest got blocked out:P)
I got a wide variety of artists that inspired me to making hip hop. I don't have a favourite rapper since styles are to different to compare to each other. You simply can't compare Ludacris to Dr. Dre. But mainly american artists. Dutch that make good hip hop would be THC and VSOP and such artists.
Just basic stuff. Computer mic and headphone.
