This is a rough mix/very rough master (i don actually know how to master) of one of our songs. There is still another guitar track to be added in.

MYSPACE PAGE: www.myspace.com/diskotraitor Hello. We are D!SKO TRA!TOR. We play acoustic. posi. singalong. folk. punk. We believe in a fully DIY approach to music and ethics. We will play ANYWHERE that is not a smelly corporate venue. (this line got quoted in a newspaper. I dont really use the word smelly too often so it was funny). We are totally acoustic.
Band/artist history
We formed in the kitchen of Paddys Hall at a gig on 27th August 2005, i had just gotten back from America, so it was an amazing thing to be a part of. Im so glad it materialised. We had out first practice a few months later in Sallys Shed. that was a funny day. Since then we've done 2 tours of Ireland and released a 6 song demo cd.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
As a band we pretty much live in Paddys Hall, GREYSTONES. We formed there, practice there, record there, play gigs there. Its the best place in the world. We recently played 2 shows with This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb from America and The Wednesdays and Hush Hush Revolution form Alabama. They were all lovely people. One gig was in Paddys Hall, The other was in a house living room in Dublin. On our way to the gig we were waiting 8 minutes on the platform for a train so we played 2 songs and made 3 euro. There were a mixtue of all sorts of people who moved closer to watch (about 10 of them) and they all clapped. it was nice. We played our first ever tour of Ireland with Latterman from Long Island in April 2006. It was fantastic, they are lovely guys and we had a great time! We have just finished playing 8 dates around Ireland in June as part of the Basta! Summer Tour. Here is a video of one of the gigs in Wexford. It was the living room of a house. Those types of gigs are the best! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpQLzlqqY9M
