TOSHK hail from the west of London and were formed as an antidote to the brainless-manufactured-pap swamping the airwaves. The band aim to create listenable songs and to leave the image aspect of the music industry to others.
A new album is being prepared as we speak, under the working title "Might Never Happen" and tracks are being rewritten and reworked on a daily basis. The album promises to be a dark and twisted journey through a relatively untroubled mind. There's the job of whittling down 11 or so songs from a pool of eighty still to be done.
Not at present - songwriting and studio only for the time being.
Deceptively twisted lyrics the meanings of the songs is not always clear. Bitter sweet verses and brash and blullying choruses are the hallmark of the Toshk sound. Influences include the Bluetones, Divine Comedy, Weezer, Blondie, Bowie and far too many to mention
