My name is White Cheddar. I'm a hip-hop artist from the great state of Connecticut. There are some people that like me, some that hate me and a whole lot more that have no idea who the hell I am. I'm trying to balance those three categories out a little better. Bear with me, I'm working on it.
I used to want to be a rapper really bad when I was about 7 or 8 after hearing Coolio for the first time. I was laughed at by pretty much everybody at that point. I began to lose interest when I was about 11 or 12 when the quality of hip-hop that I was aware of at the time began to slowly decline (for me, anyway). By the time I was 15, I pretty much hated hip-hop altogether. I was heavily into punk rock, which is a primarily underground genre of music and that led me to discover all sorts of underground and unsigned artists in almost every genre (a little late, I know). By the time I was 17, my taste in music had evolved into what is commonly referred to as "eclectic." I was hooked on hip-hop again and decided to try my hand at it once again since I was older and thought I had a better idea of what exactly it is that I was doing. Now I'm even older than that and still don't know what I'm doing, but I'm getting better at it.
I perform in Connecticut a lot because, you know, I live here and stuff. It's not rare to see me elsewhere, though. I've been up and down the east coast from Rhode Island to South Carolina and almost everywhere in between.. and Las Vegas. I can't get into detail about memories or "special moments" because I'm only allowed to type out so many characters on these things.
Ain't nobody got time for that.
A pen and a notebook. No laptops or smartphones.
Anything goes, huh? Imagine the possibilities.
