Made up of members from bands that fell apart in the Swainsboro area, The Moral of the Story is a band that tries to bridge the gap between various genres. Hard hitting sometimes, mellow and melodic othertimes, this band does deliver!
In the year of our lord, 2006 a band came together out of the desire to play music. It had a single purpose: To reinvent the face of music as best it could. Brining many different influences to the table, from Black Death Metal to Funk, they tried to make their new, unique style. As fate would have it, though, the very thing that was to make them different was the thing that tore them apart. Many elements of the bands sound clashed against each other and ripped at the seems. Five songs and one show later, the band was no more.
A year Passes by.
Sitting, locked inside the dreams of two of the bands former members is the dream to one day attempt to rebuild that experience. Other bands were tried, but only met with failure at some end. As luck shined down, the two were inspired again, not to find a new band, but to try and make something again with each other, even if it was nothing more than jamming during free time.
So, Kyle and the Trizz came together and played...
...and it was good. They now knew what they must do: Find a drummer and a vocalist and bring back the band. The vocalist was another gift from fate, as it was his house they were jamming at. He merely stepped in and the machine began to spin it's gears and move towards absolution. A month passed and the drummer situation looked grim, but again fate handed us our first choice and Austin returned to us, and it was good!
Now all are together...
Dedicated to simplicity, the new Moral of the Story, now matured by a year of experience, prepares to unleash their new musical monstrosities upon the world of listeners. We hope to bring you something new, something different, something that the whole world can enjoy. Stay tuned to this Myspace for more music as it becomes available!
