John Smith A.K.A. Big Smo, founder and owner of Yayoda Records. Born Feburary 14, 1976, in San Diego California. Moving to Shelbyville Tennesse in 1980, enabled Big Smo begin his music career. In 2000, Big Smo and partner Dj Orig established Yayoda Records as an independent label in Tennessee. Big Smo and Dj Orig have established themselves as song writers, producers, and musicians. Yayoda Records released their first album in 2003, called "Big Smo's Kuntry Kitchen". In Spring 2003, Yayoda Records began producing commercials and voice over workshops in conjuction with Robin's Management Company. Our label has produced an impressive roster of hip hop talent. Yayoda's talent colaborated witha variety of other acts (Nitty the Hitman & 6-5) and spawned the creation of a new flavor of noise we call "The Bushes Boys". The album is scheduled to release Summer of 2006. Big Smo's next solo project "The True South" will drop Fall 2006.
