I've been in this business for so long...I've been in some successful bands and some bands that suck and it boils down to everyone having the same goals and keeping them the same. I've decided to just simplify things, get rid of all the politics and concerns and just play a guitar...for fun. When it stops being fun then I'll quit...again.
I'm more worried about band future: .....to be continued.
too many to tell...small bars, basements, even coliseums...as long as there is at least some old drunk to listen, then I'm happy. My most special moment....was my first live performance, we finished our first song and as the feedback of the amps dwindled...and as you could hear the crickets chrip...from the back of the smokey bar, I hear the words..."You SUCK!" .....and you know what, he was right. I was hooked from then on.
Well I have to say I started to play guitar over 14 years ago to get chicks....then I found out I was good and have been influenced by so many it's impossible to tell them all...I'd have to say the guitarist that has had the most effect on me has been Joe f'n Perry
