Hey, I'm Edvan drummer from the band, and my friend the guitarist. So far we are a two peice band and we have two songs and two other songs we are working on. One of the two songs we have you can listen to.
Well I've been playing drums since September 2004, with only owning a full kit since November 2005, so I've played on many different kits to get where I am now. Matt has been playing guitar for about a year, he bought his guitar around late May of 2005 and It's and epiphone that serves him well. Me and Matt were in a band in mid June called , and we onlyed played one song then never spoke to each other for about three month's. It was my fault though why we lost battle of the bands*slams* heads against desk. Also my fault for Matt having to replace his guitar. Actually before I joined up with Matt I used to play with hi s brother, we played a song for one talent show, I like to call it the solo duet, we actully did half bad in that one, but ever since the starting a school me and Matt have been talking about starting a band, and here we are, blindly hitting our instruments against random objects and seeing what sounds they make....
Yes me and matt play live everyweek at our church for our youth band, no special moments but the stupid ones are there.
Oh we have differnt musical influences.
Matt has more of a classic rock background ranging from things to Boston to Pink Floyde he was also in to some soft rock like Matchbox 20, now he's is more into Punk/Rock like Blink 182, Greenday and Relient K, He also likes a taste of the heavier stuff from TFK, Pillar, Kutless and Skillet, most of the bands Matt listens to are christian by the way, but they still are amazing.
Me I've come from an odd music background, in my opinion, I used to like pop, rap and Hip Hop which I hate now. After that I got into Metal, I would listen to Spineshank, Slipknot, and Disturbed. Later on I found a band I liked called Dry Cell and they lead me into some of the lighter more popular music like AFI, My Chemical Romance and Greenday. After realizing how bland they were after so many listens I started getting into Matts music...Punk/ Rock, but Immediatly discovered one of the most influential bands I have ever heard...Dream Theater, since then I've been in Prog Rock and some Punk/Rock and Christian Rock/Metal my taste are a little heavier than Matt though.
