Well, I dunno where to start. I make music for fun and enjoyment. Starting young I really hope to make a good career out of my love for music.
Well it all started in the 5th grade. I played music with some friends. Until around 7th grade. Our friendship kind of split. I just played around with gay music loop programs until around 8th grade. 8th grade, I didn't make any music progressivly. But I did partner up with a fellow mate. And make a kickin song Mr. washington.
9th grade was a big music break for me. I started playing guitar/bass/drum/keys/flute. Anything that seemed appealing to me. I started to play with around 3 bands, Kung Fu Gypsies, District 39 Experience, and Noir Damanche. Both Kung Fu Gypsies and Noir Damanche failed horribly. But I did have some success with District 39 Experience. We released made a 6 track demo. Featuring a fun and unforgettable song Sodomy and Noodle Soup. From there on though the band kind of drifted away. After multiple times of trying to get them to play again. It just seemed to hard to for them to find time. But we do have plans of playing a live gig. (For our small fan base, like 5people,haha, don't laugh). After going to an amazing concert (Incubus) I found a spiritual relief in soul expressing music. I formed my own sound and called it Indigo. I didn't really do anything special just a few techno/trance tracks. After that I stopped making music. Just recently around 2 years later. I got the feeling of something good happening. I picked up my bass, recorded this fat bass line, then thought this is great. I went into my studio and for a week I did nothing but record, guitar, drum, bass, keys beats. Hopped onto my comp/studio. And made it all so jammin. Hence where I am out now. Dj Drok. A total crossroad of musical imbalance, I have the heart to fuse Indigo with Dj Drok. So expect my next few releases to be real ear openers.
I haven't yet, really hoping to though. I think It would be so great. But I need more than myself to play live. Even though I record all my own instruments.
