Out of the dust and ashes of alternative and metal, comes a musical rebirth of rock. The Gone has stepped out of the shadows of great rock acts such as Alice in Chains and the Deftones to bring their own spawn of chaos to the local phoenix area. The brilliant songwriting on their self-titled debut album is an earful of relief to rock fans everywhere, though the album is only upstaged by the energy and personality of The Gone's incredible live shows. This onslaught is led by the vocal stylings of Curt Wesley, who brings a power and mystery to the stage that hasnt been seen for many years. Heading the strings section is the dynamics of Dave Z. His swirling guitar riffs can lead you to the pearly gates only to set them on fire as they open. Rounding out the this sordid crew are Brad Lee, Matthew James and Dan Ammon on Guitar, Bass and Percussion, respectively.
