Stevie Cut Grampa Originated in the wilds of the Little Traverse Bay area of Northern Michigan In the especially bleak winter of 2002. SCG wrote, engineered and produced all of the HYNOBIUS RETARDUS EP, and most of ARBOR DAY into 2003 splitting the time between the bands two locations, a small but warm hunting cabin on the Lake Michigan shore and a less remote cabin in the "city" of Boyne City.
The pair then parted ways yet scheduled to meet and finished ARBOR DAY with the final production and mastering completed in Grand Rapids, Michigan in December 2004.
Stevie Cut Grampa now resides in Kent, Ohio and Grand Rapids, Michigan though they continue to create music via the internet.
