Hi! We are Down Syndrome and we are a struggling amateur band who plays pop-punk and punk songs. We write our own material and hope that one day will make it big time
Our band was formed 2005 when we were in thrid year highschool. Neil Lacsonand Paul Pacheco were a playing in other bands (neil playing drums for chichakors.. another school band, paul for amici as a guitarist with neil..) they frequently jammed in their classroom with Donne Perillo. Playing everything from eheads to system of a down until they found out that they all share interests for punk and alternative thus sparking the idea of forming a band. The first line up was Donne on Vocals, Neil and Paul on guitars, Jeff bersalona on Drums and Enri Claravall on Bass.. But before the could perform as a band neil left due to his businesses with the other band thus replacing him was emerson derota and adding kyle ganancial on keyboards. Then after playing in october the band fell apart. In january 2006 the band reunited with neil paul jeff and donne. they wrote their own material and discussed that they needed a bassist. they brought along russel leparto to play for them and turned out that they found the right guy. The band sat down with russel to write new material. But by summer Donne indefinitely left the band and was replaced by a female vocalist named carla hernandez. The band played for paul's sister's debut and covered spongecola, mayonnaise and the speaks's songs. in october 2006 neil was unable to play for the band but donne came back to perform with them. This was the first time they performed our song (tentative title to liham).
during the summer of 2007 they reunited and wrote other songs but jeff had to move to davao for college thus leaving our band without a drummer...
